For spontaneous Geocaching evening tours, I wrote two small Greasemonkey scripts which ease the preparation work before you can enjoy your trip. You can obtain the scripting engine Greasemonkey as a Firefox plugin. Please click the links below to install the scripts.

Waypoints

This first script inserts a new link to the right of the cache's coordinate entry that provides an LOC file containing all available Waypoints, as well as the main coordinates themselves. The idea and the first implementation has been proposed by James Inge and has been adapted by me to fit my needs. Here's the script:

If you are using Linux and you like to upload the file to your GPS device right out of the browser, you can use my instructions here. Unfortunately, I did not find the time to translate them to English, yet. Anyway, the procedure is quite simple, get loc2garmin (copy&paste the shell script block at the bottom of the page), install zenity and gpsbabel, and read the code lines in the two articles linked above ;-)

Spoiler Images

The second script creates a new link as well, but this time it provides a page with all available spoiler images. Thus, it is now possible to download and print all images in once without sneaking a peek on all of them already.
