Welcome to my homepage!
I am Research Assistant in the Mathematical Image Analysis Group at Saarland University in Saarbrücken. In 2006 and 2008, I received a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. degree, respectively, and am now doing research in the context of my Ph.D. project.
In my spare time, I am engaged in programming, photographing, digital image manipulation, or problems in image processing, and like climbing, cycling, hiking, skiing or geo-caching. Furthermore, I am heading the Jugend-forscht-Club Saar e.V., a non-profit organisation promoting sciences to children and youths: Together with my colleagues, we organise excursions, research projects and other activities for interested students.
